The decoration of Villa Alba in Kew is important to the state of Victoria for aesthetic, architectural, historic and social reasons. Its cultural significance results from the unrivalled quality of its 1883-84 hand-painted interiors created by the Scottish-trained interior decorators the Paterson Bros. The Museum is normally open to the public on the first Sunday of the month. Admission: $15.00 incl. booking fee and GST. Children under 18 free.
Tickets for major events, including open days, lectures and workshops can be purchased through Eventbrite. For more information, view our Events page.
